Peshawar Zalmi , led by Boom Boom Afridi, put in a strong performance throughout the tournament and reached the final after finishing at the top of the league stage standings. In the final, Peshawar Zalmi chased down a target of 148 runs set by Islamabad United, with Luke Ronchi top-scoring for the team with an innings of 76 runs off just 39 balls.
